Equal Channel Angular Extrusion
Our core competency is Equal Channel Angular Extrusion (ECAE) and the design and manufacture of cost effective, efficient, and user-friendly ECAE process tooling and equipment. We build ECAE tools for bar, plate, and tube geometries along with specialty presses and ancillary equipment for ECAE processing.
We utilize our broad experience, depth of knowledge, and know-how in severe plastic deformation processing of metals and polymers to enable the fabrication and use of better materials for industrial, military, and scientific customers. Our improved-microstructure materials have enhanced strength, ductility, uniformity, and product consistency compared to standard materials. We can generate materials with combinations of mechanical, optical, electrical, magnetic, electrochemical, and thermal properties not available with conventionally processed pure metals, alloys, or thermoplastics.
